Skills First funding is a Victorian Government initiative that provides funding for eligible individuals to access vocational education and training (VET) courses. This funding aims to assist individuals to gain the skills and knowledge needed to get a job, progress in their career, or undertake further education and training. Skills First funding covers a range of courses and qualifications, from pre-apprenticeships to higher level diplomas and advanced diplomas. Funding is provided to registered training organisations (RTOs) who deliver these courses and qualifications to eligible individuals.
